How do I program the garage door opener on a 2010 Prius ?

    I'm not able to program my garage door opener. The car manual does not help.

    If you have your garage opener's owner's manual, it should tell you the steps. If not, go online and see if it is available.

    basic steps are:
    • hit a button on the opener to activate listen mode
    • hold a button on the car's mirror until you get a flashing light or a beep
    • wait 5 seconds and try the car's button to open the garage door.
    That's about all that was needed with my 2010.

    Thank you ! I'm so happy with my newly acquired 2010 Prius. I've even given her a name...Cherry Buzz. She's red, of course.

    I actually programmed it with the help of another video, a few days ago. Your video was clear and concise and will no doubt help someone in the future. I love this Prius Comradery.
