Any good recommended dealer in NYC

When I emailed Bayridge Toyota last year, the internet salesperson said something like "you won't paid over MSRP". And that's exactly what happened, I paid MSRP and got the car in one week. I guess it depends on who you talk to.

 

Do an internet search you should easily find a car a MSRP. Forget invoice price.

I am currently shopping for a Prius in the NYC area too. I have been in contact with a couple dozen dealers in and around NYC and other parts of the east coast. As FBear states, invoice price has no relevance to Prius pricing (unlike many cars). If you negotiate aggressively you can get a couple hundred dollars below "MSRP." However, by "MSRP" they all mean MSRP for the package you want and about $200-$600 worth of random accessories (floor mats, first aid kit, whatever). None of the dealers I contacted charge above MSRP given that caveat. So really you can probably negotiate down to the actual MSRP for your option package and maybe a hair below. In general, prices seem to be better inside NYC city limits than they are in the suburbs. Toyota of Manhattan is my favorite of all the dealerships I have contacted so far. Toyota of Westchester is my least favorite. Fordham Toyota seems fairly good (but they don't always reply to email as quickly as many others do, so if internet shopping is a priority for you, they may not be an ideal choice). Toyota City in Mamaroneck and Toyota of Stamford (CT) also seem fairly good (but a bit more expensive than the NYC dealers).
