2006 Nav question

    Using the Prius nav unit, is it possible to program your home by the physical location of your vehicle rather than the house number, street name, city, etc. On my Garmin 2620 you park in the driveway and tell the GPS this is your home.

    Yes there is an option to do that. I actually had to do that on mine. I don't remember the exact steps but when setting your home position there should be an option to use current position. Check your NAV manual because i'm sure it tells you how to do it.

    You can "Mark" any point and name it whatever you like. Then you can set it as a Quick destination to facilitate voice commands.

    Right. Twice I've set up a location and found that the location I had entered was wrong (my fault, not the NAV system), both times I just marked where I was and set that as the correct location.
