I went to the website and changed my cars name. It shows up in some places in my Entune App (such as my remote climate, charge management)but not on the Eco Challenge Board. What did I do wrong?

Possibly nothing. When I changed my name, it took awhile for it to fully change on Entune.

You did nothing wrong. Several of us ran into this previously so I called. The fix has to be done from inside the Entune app. The instructions are in the first post here. Entune App Suite | PriusChat

Thanks, Mr. Mark57. I just updated my "nickname"; worked great, but in order for correction to appear on the Eco Dashboard, you must drive the car.
After driving and stopping again, my new name appeared in the Eco Dashboard app. Now the question remains, when to run my Prime on gasoline (I want to run the ICE once this month, but don't want to lose my ranking). Do I run it on the last day of the month, or the first day of the next month. How long to run, and what time of the day. Hey, I've got major issues down here. It's been really tough dealing with these mid-winter temperatures of 79°F!! I know, I should get a life!!

Mark, is it possible to eliminate a whole month from your records. I am so ashamed of how I have driven this month I won't even look to see if I have sheep. Those sucks are gone for sure. We have barely cracked 0 the last few days here. Gas has been on often. Short drives here and there. It is not good. Come on Spring......

Oh, and it looks like someone ran over the ground hog yesterday. Sucker is flat as a pancake on the highway near my place. Hope that does not make this winter last longer.

You're going to take a hit on rank no matter when you do it. As soon as you burn gas, the 100% EV people are going to jump ahead of you so if you do it the last day of the month, you only take the hit for that day. If you run it on the first, you'll disappear for the whole month because you're not pure EV and those folks always sort to the top.

Um, no. You have to take it on the chin like the rest of us. :D It was 6° here yesterday morning and 8° this morning.

You can burn gas and still rate high on the ECO score.

That's why I figured I'd do it on the last day.
The system does average you out, so I could probably keep my ranking if I only drive 2 or 3 miles on the last day! I think ICE, and exhaust system would probably prefer I run for 20-30 minutes to give the puppy a proper warm-up. Running a car with OCD is so difficult!!

I was wondering who this “A choired Taste” fellow, who jumped to the top of the list, was!

“Portland Prius”, about 19 slots below you.

    Mr. CraigM,
Yeah, I'm hiding out. They should keep all the names the same; these aliases can make it difficult to figure out who is whom!!
I figured I'd use this to plug my band, "A Choired Taste". I've been in music over 55 years with 10 albums, and still nobody knows who the heck I am!! I need the money!!

Agreed and for the health of your car. It's hard to keep it running in HV to get a good workout. Leave your battery down and run it in charge mode. The engine won't shut off until you take it out of charge mode.

We have had the ICE come on for 2 or 3 miles and it still averaged all 9s MPG over the +250 miles traveled at that point of the month on the ECO Dashboard.

If your monthly ICE exercise does affect your ECO Dashboard ranking, then you could sacrifice every other month and run the ICE the first and last day of a month and then following month could be ICE-free.
