I rarely look at the centre screens - the Heads Up Display is fantastic.

Some don't like the location of the speedometer but I have two cars like that now and prefer it that way.
I have always disliked the speedometer in front of the steering wheel. When I tilt the wheel where I like it, it blocks the view of the speedometer. If you look at really old cars it was actually in the middle then someone decided to move it. Another thing is it is more in your line of sight. I feel it is safer.

I think I am the only one who has ever said this.

Yep - early Morris Minor. I would say that there is verrrrry little data on the Morris compared with PRIUS - but I've had centre TOYOTA before on a Yaris which I got used to within several minutes of taking delivery of the car.

I’m sorry you’re not impressed by my personal opinion on the Gen 4. It’s okay to disagree sometimes. :p

I do agree that the Gen 4 is vastly superior in driving dynamics than the Gen 3? I liked the greater confidence the steering wheel gives you when cornering. It still, however, leans substantially just like a Gen 3 which is why I do not like it or the Gen 3.

I didn’t drive it 24 hours. I test drove it at a dealer. I also don’t have a favorable opinion on the Gen 2 or 3. I don’t like any model Prius. It’s my opinion. Please don’t be impressed by it. Feel free to ignore it. I am impressed with my 2012 PiP as an efficient mode of transportation, so much so that I bought a second one. That’s why I am on this forum. I hope you guys can put down the pitchforks.

LOL. No pitchfork my friend, just pointing out that your opinion was likely made after just a brief experience without the benefit of familiarity. BTW, my 2016 is quite flat through the corners on 15" rims. Only leaning is from my left hand seat occupant!

Not only do all cars lean at least a little. They all lean the wrong way. You need a motorcycle for proper leaning in the twisties.

Hey, I always liked the reverse beep.
My Honda Fit doesn't do it, so now I have to do it myself.

The dealer can turn the beep off, well change it to one beep. I made sure they did so before taking delivery.

The gen 4 is affected by wind no more, and no less than most other similar size cars. My previous gen 3 was probably affected a little more.

I haven't driven my gen 4 on ice and snow, but the gen 3 did pretty well, like most front drivers. I've heard that the traction control in gen 2 Priuses can "overdo," and cut power too much in snow, but I haven't experienced it, never having a gen 2.

The dealer was lying, or clueless. The dealer where I bought mine turned it off.

Originnal Minis had the speedometer in the center, simpler for making both RHD and LHD versions. Gen 1 and 2 BMW Minis had an analog speedo in the middle as a retro thing, but also a digital readout in the tach housing.

Mine changed it to one beep. The manual does not list an option for them to turn it off.

Yeah, I should have said mine changed it to one beep, not zero. I don't know why they don't let you turn it off yourself in one of the menus, but it's not a big deal. I've had two Priuses, and I just have them change it to one beep before taking delivery.

It is probably is a legal requirement related to the shifter not staying in position.

Could be. I, for one, really like the Prius shifter. Its being self-centering allows automatically putting the car in park when you turn it off with the start/stop button.

It is a very small, narrow car that makes the BMW Minis look big. Also, that was 1959. Things were sometimes done differently then.
