We just went through the Costco auto program to get my wife’s new RX450h and went with Lexus of Concord:

    Let’s just say I won’t be back there if I have a say:cool:.

But we are in Fairfield, so Concord Toyota would be the dealer we would use if I were to replace our 2010 with a Prime;).

And that may happen. My wife’s employer would give $3k if we went that route:).

    Keep me posted(y).

It looks like a good dealer too based on Google review. I want to see whether the net price can go closer to $24k for the plus model in the Bay Area.

Didn’t think the 2018’s were in the states yet. Any way to confirm you received a 2018.

Do you know of any changes between the 2017 and the 2018? Thx.

It does seem like a really good deal. If you're a in a hurry, I'd say go for it. However, I would negotiate to have 0% APR before closing the deal.

To all the potential prime owners in SoCal:

At the moments, Toyota only offers 1000$ cash back. However, most dealers are loaded with primes. I've been watching inventory of most dealers around SoCal. They aren't selling as well as they hope. If you're really interested in purchasing one right now, I'd say try to negotiate at least 5K on both trims Premium (~25,000) and Advanced (~29,000). It really depends on how many they have in inventory, Advanced may be hard to negotiate, but be keen to take 0% APR or .9%.

If you're still wanting a better deal, wait until March to see what the incentives are, or when 2018 model hits the sale floor. Once it hits, your 2017 model depreciates 7K driving off the lot. So take that into consideration when negotiating as well.

Please send out multiple online quotes, then visit at least 2 dealers to test drive. They're willing to match or offer even better deal if you can show them your other offers in writing.

Good information here. I tried to negotiate a sale on the premium trim last night and the best the dealer could do out the door was $28,110. They said that the emailed offer was for a car that had been sold a couple of days before. (Sure it was… ) Only 2 available at a $225 price hike in MSRP. $1000 cash back - I didn't bring up the fact that Toyota is offering $1500. The fine print in the offer said that it didn't include dealer options, those options there were two items that added $900 to the deal. They were $399 for theft protection etching and $499 for clearcoat protection for the doors and handles. I balked at the this and they said there's nothing they can do because all their cars have these options on them. I might've been able to get less because as I got up to leave he said: "What if we could get you half off those option items?" But I had a feeling that they priced in the profit for them on those and wasn't going to go any lower than that. So seem like if I could get the premium for 27,000 out the door with tax and license that would've been a pretty good deal. I'm not in a hurry and so I'm gonna wait till March, possibly May for Memorial Day sale to see if they'll be much better deals. I'm also interested in seeing what incentives Toyota offers once their 2018 models to the showroom floor.

Hmm, I didn't focus on how much off MSRP.
My goal was to be around invoice and get fair KBB value for trade in.
