Good point. Real world fuelly drivers get 46.3 mpg on the '14 Prius. And you'd probably get less on the drive from LI to NYC as the driving is more aggressive than usual.

That seems pretty good given it's winter and I assume heavy or moderately heavy traffic. Wasn't the target for the last Camry Hybrid 40 mpg combined?

The 4th Gen is better than the 3rd Gen Prius but the Camry of one era is always gonna be better than the Prius of the same era.

Re: Prius Prime "Now you tell me mom?!?!" lol j/k

Driving aggressively/assertive I still get around 40mpg. This is only when the weather is warm. When it goes below freezing, I have low 30’s.

    Keep the classic classy Marquis.
My nephew bought a 2018 Toyota Prius and the windshield cracked twice from Fresno summer heat.
Toyota dealership and Toyota of America refuse to replace windshield under warranty.
With calibration the total cost would be over $1000! What you save in gasoline goes to endless
body repairs because the Prius has low ground clearance.
I believe the spontaneous windshield fracture is a design flaw concentrating stresses to the corners not unlike
the world's first jet airliner square window blow outs:
