    I'm not going to lie I bought it more for the "bling" factor than the go, but it did make a considerable difference in the ability to get up a hill or merge onto the freeway.

    I've been on RSR Springs since almost day one, but with the recent TRD Sportivo shocks I needed to start getting things braced up, before the stiff suspension took its tool on the body. This was a good start, and more is on the way.

    Very nice. Any more details? How was the fitment? Plug and Play on that suction kit? Easy to do? How about the cross bar? Any drilling? Googled the part and saw some rear anti-sway bars. I think that's the plan for me this year, that cross member, rear sways but not sure if the suction kit will do anything. We do need to get to speed merging down here in SoCal

    The cross bar bolts right up. We used to have a member here that would make them. I have one of his. It makes a slight bit of a noticeable change. 2 bolts and you're good.

    Brandon, I noticed a red sway bar back there. That's the business end of the car right? The front? Looks like a red Tanabe? Was it hard to install? I'll probably do one at a time, rear sway, that cross member, and front sway.

    How hard are those sway bars to install? I'll work on the suspension first before anything in the engine. I want a baseline for mileage and I've only filled up the tank once since getting it. Well, 1 1/2.

    Now that I looked at the pic, looks like the red sway bars are the rear. From what I'm reading the Tanabe and TRD are easy. Just a few bolts and about an hour's work? The front however....looks like a pain in the ...

    Sorry didn't mean to leave you hanging on responses here.

    The link in my sig has all details and more pics on the car. Anyway my current suspension set up is: RSR springs, TRD Sportivo shocks (for the Yaris), TRD rear sway bar (Yaris again), and the Cusco center brace. Installed pretty much in that order. I felt a huge difference with the Cusco brace, but the RSR/TRD spring and shock combo is pretty stiff so I know the body was going to need some help. I have more Cusco pieces on the way as well.

    The Blitz intake isn't my only intake upgrade. I've also 3D printed a velocity stack inlet to the airbox to get rid of the long silencer that Toyota used. I haven't quite finalized it yet so I haven't posted many photos. That was in place before I installed the Blitz, so I'm not sure how it would do on it's own. As a combination, I have to say it was well worth the money. The car has a noticeable increase in acceleration. You aren't going to be racing anyone for pinks, but I am now able to maneuver through traffic easier and take one of the grades here at speed with out needing to have the pedal pushed through the floor! There is of course a side effect. Toyota wouldn't just drop the horse power for fun. The intake combo is louder than stock. Not like annoying ricer loud or anything, but I can see why they made the trade off in a car that isn't always using the gasoline engine. I know some people would not be happy with a louder combustion engine kicking in from time to time. For me, it's still a lot quieter than my other cars, and the power is a welcome upgrade.

    Install wise all of this stuff is pretty simple. Like already said, the center brace is literally two bolts and is done. Rear sway bar is 4 total, and does involve removing the lower shock nut. A torque wrench is suggested for that, but I'll let you decide if you want to use one. Intake took slightly longer, but it's still a pretty quick install.

    That's awesome thanks!! HybridPit is actually near me and I'll probaly order a strut brace, that mid Cusco Brace and a TRD rear anti-sway. I'd rather have the experts do the tower brace since it looks like it'll take a me a long time to do that and I can only work in my car port. But the center brace and rear sway looks like a quick install.

    That'll be it for a while on mine, I don't mind the speed (lack of it) but I do like to have a better handling car. I used to have a tool truck (f150) and getting into the freeway was 0-60mph in .. eventually... The old 302 engine with sputter when I hit the gas.

    Brandon, do you have the part numbers for the shocks/springs? I'm considering doing this. I already have the mid brace, but I think I want just a little more... it's like crack, isn't it?

    Hi C is Turning 30k – Most Designs

    That has close ups of the box with the part number for the shocks, Springs are in an older post on my site as well, or they are just RSR springs for the NHP10. And yeah, the "Hi C" is one of my 8 cars, and they are all modified. The word addiction stopped being enough to describe my habit years ago! lol

My original photos aren't showing up for me anymore, but The Lightning Fast Intake Of Air. – Most Designs that link has them all with side by side comparisons. The intake did seem to allow better breathing and equal a bit more power available. It is at the trade off of more noise however. I ordered mine directly from Amazon Japan.

    You have to sign up for an Amazon Japan account. I have a US prime, and a regular Japan one. It really is pretty easy to order most things, and thank you. I wanted somewhere to post everything that I could control and just re-link to as forums and social media platforms gain and lose popularity.

    I'll be honest, Japan and the DHL shipping is almost faster than Amazon US and their Amazon Shipping service. I get alerts on Sunday night at like 9pm that my package just cleared customs in LA and will be out for delivery tomorrow in San Jose. I almost feel bad making people work that hard to bring me car parts and tools! lol

    Hi Brandon, hope you don't mind if I ask you a few questions..
    I've been stalking your blog :cool: and under the Amazon Japan Finds I saw these three links.







    The first link is the Blitz suction kit you used in this post. Then what are the other two? The HKS kit looks the same as the Blitz but what does the Zero kit do?

    Blitz and HKS appear to be the same part with the exception of the HKS coming with an HKS drop in filter. I'm running the Blitz with an OEM Toyota filter and a 3d printed velocity stack on the inlet to the box. The Zero kit would replace the whole OEM air box and replace it with an open element filter like a traditional "short ram intake". I've not tried the Zero kit personally, but run something similar on my 4Runner. Most of the time these will be louder, but can offer more power. Really with out doing a dyno comparison it's hard to say which one is going to be right for you. I am happy with my Blitz intake though.

    Added the rest of my Cusco braces over the last couple of weeks ...

    I did the strut brace first and it made a huge difference. A week later I finally got around to the under brace, and wasn't expecting a huge change, but wow. It actually did make another significant change for the better. Both helped with keep the car flat in high speed corners, but more importantly they help with the cowl shake on rough roads. The car just overall feels more solid now, and actually like a much better built more solid vehicle.
