Prius back up camera issue

    Hello Guys!

    I have Toyota prius 2008 (as attached) and I am just wondering if its possible to attach back camera to the display screen? I bought a back camera and sensor from wish. Having looked the display unit My mechanic told me the display screen not compatible with back camera installation and thts why he installed it on rear view mirror. My question is that impossible to connect camera to the screen for this model? If not then how? I am living in stockholm (sweden) where only handful of mechanics know kinda “ Mcgyver” or off the track things. Thanks
