Just installed these a couple days ago. Really great fit and nice look. Could have gone a lot wilder with all thier color selections but I got conservative.

Synthetic. It's sorta like wet suit material (at least the one I saw was like that).

Yes it is the same thing they make wet suits out of. They are really a lot nicer than what that may sound like and are completly washable while still in the car. Great for pets, children, or just an old guy like me that may spill a chocolate milk shake from time to time !!!!!!

Interesting! Please describe the feel: on skin, hot days, cold days, etc.

One of the reasons I did not want leather is because of the heat build up. These seats felt a little cooler to the touch yesterday than the back seats which are still stock, when it was 117 degrees outside. I doupt I will ever be in cold weather. It is pretty hard to describe the feel. I guess it is a little like suede, but what ever it is, it is a nice feel.

ordered from thier web site http://wetokole.com/ mine came to just over $300 but there are lots of options so check the site. They will send you small samples so you can see the color and texture of the material, but it doesn't do the final product justice. The fit is just perfect !!!!!

Perhaps you can find a local dealer as they may have samples there for you to see. Their price may be good too. I got my GT covers from a Toyota dealer, which was cheaper then ordering direct.

B Rad: I was wondering if you could take a couple more pix, of perhaps how the back looks. Was it simple to install? How about the center arm rest. Were those easy too? I also noticed that you have teh body side mouldings. Did you install them yourself?!

I've got them too. Had them for about three months and I love them. Totally worth the $$$$.

I have had the Wet Okoles for over a year now. They are awesome. They fit so well that people think they are the original seat surface even after a year with plenty of seat time. I'd recommend them to anyone. Well worth the price - and they make the hard 2005 Prius seat a lot more comfortable (I think Toyota made the 2006 a bit softer).

Tyrael, can't speak about the seat covers, but I installed body side mouldings two days ago. They look awesome...If you search a link for body side mouldings another member, Jim put up a detailed description of how to do it, then if you scroll down a bit more in the thread, I put up a detailed description of the slight changes I made in his approach that seemed to make it easier for me. Did not have any problems doing the side moulding and they look very professional..

My seat covers come out of production on Thursday or Friday this week. They seem to take approximately 2 weeks.

For those in shouting distance of their factory in Costa Mesa, CA (The O.C.), they will install them for free, and you save $20 on shipping.

I'll let eveyone know how they came out...

    WET OKOLE REVIEW

OK, I have the seat covers. I didn't realize it, but they are exactly the same as those in the picture posted by B-Rad at the beginning of this thread. Conservative, but if they were a Spice Girl, they'd be Sporty Spice.

    A few notes:
-These seat covers are not cheap. Wet Okole is quite proud of these. $525 or so for a full set, which does include the center arm rest, and a pocket/bag in the back.
-Installed, they give the interior a much "sportier" look. I think they look a ton better than the stock cloth seats.
-They add a nice extra layer of cushion. A nice amount of squish...
-The charcoal color blends perfectly with the interior. The light grey piping is a nice accent.
-You can delete the "Wet Okole" logo completely for no charge.
-They are very snug, and don't have sags or bunching (at least none so far).
-They are waterproof. I spilled some Diet Coke on one, and it beads up.
-They take about two weeks to manufacture.
-The pocket/bag is a net, reminiscent of a "catch bag." I guess you can put your shells and sea urchins in it while driving. :D
-They do smell like a great big wet suit at first. My Prius now smells like a dive shop, but I suspect that they will air out after a while.
-You wash and clean them on the car. They say, like a wetsuit, the more you clean them the longer they last. Supposedly, there is no need to take them off.
-Wet Okole will install them for free, if you are in the area. They refunded my $20 shipping because I picked them up.

Early review: 9 out of 10, A-. Small knocks for the price and initial odor. My colleagues are now calling me "Scuba Steve." My name isn't Steve, but I get it...

B Rad, could you post a pic of how the seats look when viewed from the back?

I had the optional back storage put on both seats.

The wide oval in the side, that's for the airbags? I'd noticed that in the from-front pic and had wondered if the seat cover simply stopped there (rather than wrapping around fully).
