Having a hard time finding wiper blade replacements for my 2017 V. AutoZone and Oreilly's only list one or two beam types, half of those never heard of no name brands. I use Bosch Icon on all my other cars, but cannot seem to find any place that sells a Bosch anything for the 2017 V. Any recommendations for what actually will fit on this car? Currently I am down to Rain X Quantum or Latitude, simply because those are the only name brand beam type available online that say they will fit. :-(

I've never found anything that works better or even as well as Toyota OEM rubber inserts. I've even had damage to the rear hood lip of one our Lexus vehicles due to aftermarket blades being too "tall".

So I bought some new OEM wiper inserts from a Toyota dealer on eBay. They arrived in a very small envelope, curled into a tiny little ring. The blades are all severely warped, if you straighten them out, the wiping edge looks like a straight line drawn by a weaving drunk driver. Should I return these...I am imagining if I install these, the bends in them will cause uneven pressure on the windshield and cause severe patches of streaking, exactly what I have now.

I also found that Bosch Icon blades for my Camry fit the 2017 Prius V...apparently Bosch never got around to checking fitment, and did not put it on the list of cars that are compatible, so everyone says it doesn't fit. I put the old blade assemblies from my 2018 Camry (26") onto the Prius, and they work.

They'll straighten out just fine when you insert the supporting ribs into them and thread them into the blade holders. A few minutes in southern California heat might help too.

So the wiper refills the Toyota dealer sent me were too wide and wouldn't fit. I checked the compatibility of my 2013 Prius V wipers with my 2017, and found them to be IDENTICAL. I was able to install Bosch Icon 26A/19B wiper blades on the 2017, even though they are listed everywhere as "not compatible". They are listed for the 2012-2014, which use the exact same wiper arms as the 2015-2017, so they snapped right on. Nice clean even wipes now...very pleased.

I buy the refills at the dealer ~$15.00 for a pair. I use them on our 2015 V & also used them on our
2011 & 2015 II's. I believe that all 3 cars took the same size, maybe not.

I found that they worked better and lasted longer than any aftermarket blades I have tried. They also work well
with ice and snow build up, so we don't have to buy winter blades.

How many miles have you got on the car? I'm just a little puzzled that you're needing new blades so soon.

Anderegg has had his 2017 Prius v since at least early 2017 per his past threads. How long do wiper blade inserts last in beautiful Vancouver?

Here in the central U.S., I replace all the wiper blade inserts in our vehicles with OEM inserts twice each year as part of regular vehicle maintenance - in Fall and again in Spring. I don't wait until until wiper inserts are obviously deteriorated and performing poorly which is usually somewhere between six months and one year after replacement.

I love Vancouver! My wife and I were walking in Stanley Park in 1995 when one of your local nutcases was riding his bicycle on the park path screaming "Superman's paralyzed! ... Superman's paralyzed!". My wife and I ended up meeting up with said young nutcase (a tugboat crewman) and his girlfriend at a bar just off Robson for drinks that evening.

    I've never changed ours... (n)

Yeah, I've got some comments. But honest to God, they're like new. Only 75K kms, and we're garage stored.

Hey, he was paralyzed. I remember that, thrown from a horse, sad day. :(

I can tolerate a bit of streaking, however, I consider a good wiper a safety issue.
I tried all different brands of wiper blades over the years on different cars. I found that I liked the Anco
blades the best, and the Trico blades were not good. I didn't like the other brands either.

So when I got my 2011 Prius, I noticed that the blade was set up on an arm that was very compact,
and did away with the need for a snow blade. I went to the dealer and bought the refills, put them on
and they did the job. I had the 2011 and traded to a 2015 AFAIK I changed the refills once on each car and traded each
    at ~ 50.000 miles.

Anyone have the OEM part numbers for the Toyota wiper blade refills for the 2016 Prius v? Just got a used one and it could use a fresh set.

EDIT: The rear wiper (first one listed above) is 85214-12310. The one listed above is for the regular liftback as opposed to the v.

I'm using Valeo First Hybrid (set of 700mm and 350mm, P/N: 575834 and 575825), but I'm not sure if they are available in U.S.

I ordered these on Monday ... they came today ... I put them on earlier this evening. The driver-side took less than a minute; the passenger-side took 2 or 3. Advance AutoParts had them for $43. I got them from Rock Auto for $16.

Trico 16-260 NeoForm Wiper Blade with Teflon, 26 in (Pack of 1) ; ... $9.06
Trico 16-180 NeoForm Wiper Blade with Teflon, 18 in (Pack of 1) ; ... $6.89

Once again I can't figure out the love affair for having to buy parts from dealers. Rock Auto has all the 2017 Prius V Bosch brand wiper blades you could possibly want.

    DirectConnect: $2.22 / $3.02
    Micro Edge: $3.90 / $6.74
    Excel+: $3.39 / $5.31
    Snow Driver: Beam Style: $4.94 / $6.76
    Clear Advantage: $4.37 / $6.45
    Evolution: $7.44 / $9.61
    Insight: $6.68 / $8.64
    Icon: $12.68 / $16.16

    Did I miss any?
