    Updates would definitely be appreciated.
    I worry about things that sound too good to be true, but am happy to be proven wrong.

    The last I checked the Hybrid Battery is hardware, not software. They are therefore lying because they are not selling new hardware throughout unless they are selling a new battery.

    Seems a little strong. I don't think that means they are lying. They claim to be replacing some of the hardware throughout the battery. That's my interpretation. I can't tell whether they really did this or not, of course.

    All the parts are NOT new. The battery is not. False advertising for the profit, apparently.

    Following this... Thinking of going through green bean for battery replacement. The dealer quoted me $1950 on a new battery. Don't know what Toyota's warranty is with diy install...

    I would not do the Green Bean battery. $1950 for a new battery ain't bad at all. According to those here who know, the diy warranty is one year. But the battery should last 10 years like any other new battery. Rebuilt batteries don't usually go more than a year before needing to be rebuilt again, if you even get that out of them.
