I'm pretty familiar with how things work at a dealer, but imagine if some rookie went in there with this? Have a heart attack on the spot

new cars are crap no matter whos name is on it, all parts made by the lowest bidder and shorter a warranty should tell you they have no confidence in their product, when my 08 dies Im going Kia.. cheap to buy, 10 year warr, gets 40 mpg so why not.

So Toyota has agreed to do a goodwill warranty on my actuator repair since I was 1 day out of warranty when I brought it back to them. They are going to replace the actuator and bleed the brakes again. Total cost $3500.

I really hate using the goodwill warranty on this car at 1 day past warranty. Now I'm kinda SOL if I'm to ask for another goodwill down the road.

Got my car back from the dealer with a new actuator, car is back to 100%. They diagnosed the problem to be a seized valve in the actuator. So 2 quality issues on a car often sitting in the garage with 15000 miles, bad actuator and leaking axle seal.
