It has recently come to my attention, the GIBLET community seems to have their own definition of precisely what a "BEAR" is. For example, when you think the word, "BEAR", the following image usually pops into your head:

or maybe even something like this...

You most certainly don't think of THIS:

The GIBLET community is, once again, making a pro-active attempt to re-define, thereby forcing their definition upon everyone else.

So I guess my question is, is there anyone here who knows of any environmental/forestry group/contingency, that can bring a libel/slander lawsuit against the GIBLETS on behalf of the REAL Bears?

I'm sure if Grizzlyman Tim was still around, he'd be outraged!

I thought you meant the Chicago Bears...

Which brings up an interesting superbowl winning concept.

If the Bears would fire the whole team, go out and hire all GBLT players... Would the other 27 teams in the league be able to find anyone willing to make a tackle, or would the Bears simply score 7 every posession on the first down?

    :D

    Dood,

I seriously doubt "The GIBLET community is, once again, making a pro-active attempt to re-define, thereby forcing their definition upon everyone else."

There are many many words with two meanings they're called homonyms. This is how language evolves.

    How appropriate.... See, it's EVERYWHERE!!!!

Oddly, just a few hours ago, I got a call from one of my sources who has indirect ties to the GIBLET community (a mole, if you will). He told me he overheard the term "man 'o war" being used often amidst a hushed discussion between like minded homosexuals... We're not quite sure what it means, can any of the resident GIBLET'S enlighten us?

    MS,

See even jeff dood (Dude) agrees with you on this topic..

There are many many words with two meanings they're called homo-nyms. This is how language evolves.
So I guess we would want to thank the GIBLET Community & the Soy industry for pumping all the extra estrogen into our bodies.

Hmmm, Bear= animal, Twink = twinky? Man Cub?, chubby bear?, Leather-Man?, Man-O-War?, Butkake?, Shrimping?, HandBall?, So many new meanings to learn... Yes we need a Giblet member to explain these to us... ;)

"Secret" Bear codes have been around since the mid-70s as far as I know . . . LINK, as have "secret" codes for Twinks.

I don't think this forum is really the place to discuss these though. Let's talk about Prius!

Iranian youths Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni executed in 2005 reportedly because they had been caught having sex with each other.
I would have to say the Gay population has it quite good here in the US..

Image and unacceptible comment removed by moderator

Well the purpose of the image was not to make lite of the act..... It was to show my utter surprise to the out landish treatment of those two poor souls for making their own choice of who they choose to be with and to let others see what other countries do as punishment for the act.. And to point out that gays have it good here in the USA when reflecting on the origainal post..

I did however make a mis judgement in using the hung pun.. It wasnt making fun of those people it was using the word that has another meaning like "BEARS"....

Sorry to have pulled your chain there Bob.

Are you saying that President Bush's wanting to see regime change and a stop of WMD creation in Iran is part of his pro GBLT agenda?

He's just trying to stop this kind of hanging...

I thought it was about oil... hahahaa..

Nice going PriusGuy04, posting a photo of two gay men in the process of being murdered along with a glib snarky remark in the very same post. A new low, even for you. And yet, telling, for unrestrained homophobia leads to the killing of gay people, and yet you are too homophobic to care.

Now hold on here! Just because you consider it an awful "crack" most certainly does NOT mean: 1. someone is homophobic, 2. is truly, really, amused by such attrocity. Then you go on to say, in essence, cracking jokes like that is virtully *guaranteed* to result in such acts, c'mon.... That's a bit presumptious don't you think? You don't like it when people presume stuff about you do you?

See, this is the kind of BS politically-correct concept that's wrong with this world today, to make everyone happy, you, in essence, have to censor everything you say or think. You have to fall into this "model" of, as REM sang, "Shiny Happy People"...

I truly think it's utterly horrible what happened to those guys, truly. It's not their fault they happen to be living within a really f'd up society that does that sort of thing. But you know what? We're here, and they're there, and at this time, there's not a damn thing anyone of us could have done about it, unless, maybe, someone here was wealthy enough to offer a cool mil. for those guys. Then again, what about all those wealthy successful gay people, people seem to go on about often? Maybe they should set up a private fund to save homosexuals around the world from fates as such, eh?

On the other hand, I found the glib remark rather amusing actually, I did, in fact, crack up for a second. So I have what YOU consider an, awful, dark, sense of humor, SO F'IN WHAT? Just think bob, even after all that, I still: 1. wouldn't vote against gay marriage, 2. vote against the adoption of children for homosexual couples.

He posted an image of two gay men being executed by hanging, and used the comment "well hung". Even he (now) admits that this was over the line.

If using "well hung" in reference to an execution of gay men is not considered by you to be a homophobic remark, there is really no reaching you. Reality seems to have departed you long ago.

    BS Bob.

You're the one trying to live in a sweet fantasy world where everyone gets along, we all can't help but think nice happy thoughts about one another, get on with the business of living and loving, and being sooo happy we blow loads for no real reason other than we're so giddy....

    THAT'S a fantasy....

I'm disagreeing with Squid about the picture that was posted. I believe that it was wrong and for the record, I am not the Moderator who removed it.

You (all inclusive) can feel free to express your opinions - and you often do - but I'm inclined to think that within this forum the posting of a death-in-progress is crossing the line. I'm not even convinced that the reason for the "punishment" is important. They could be gay, guilty of murder, a completely innocent black man caught and lynched by the KKK, or Christian workers kidnapped and beheaded by extremists in the Middle East. It doesn't belong here. If you can't defend your position by citing facts and forming rational arguments but instead rely on insults, unfounded commentary, and offensive images, then there are plenty of other forums.
