Rear headrest replacements?

    Hey all, I just bought a Prius v (lowercase v), and the rear headrests are moderately irritating. I prefer not to keep the rear seats folded, as I regularly have passengers back there, and don't want to remove the headrests entirely (for the obvious safety reasons).

    In looking at non-U.S. versions of the Prius α, it looks like some other markets get less obtrusive headrests (like these)

    Does anybody know how to go about getting these (or know which, if any, Toyota models share a headrest design with the v)? I have the grey softex seats, and a close match is obviously better...

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Since you just bought your Prius v why don't you wait and see if the 2nd row headrests are really a visibility problem. I thought it might be a problem for my barely five foot tall wife when she bought her Prius v in 2012 but it turned out not to be. She hasn't hasn't had any problem backing up but sure has hit a few objects going forward!

    I've measured the distance between headrest posts on several Toyota's but all were different. In our three row, 7 passenger Sienna for example, none of the headrests are interchangeable among rows in just this one vehicle. It's as if Toyota has purposefully made it impossible to interchange headrests.

    Recline the rear seat backs thus moving the headrests lower? Still allows someone to climb into the back seat.
