Nice! I saw some chrome Prius wheels in Hawaii last week, and they really did look sharp!

At one dealership, Puente Hills Toyota, in LA, when I was looking for a Prius only sells Prii with aftermarket leather seats, and chromes the wheels. The reason they do this is so they can grab an extra 5 grand above sticker and say they are giving you something for the extra money for the car. I laugh when I see new Prii bought at that dealership because I know the driver got ripped off. I say ripped off because they are still charging the 5 grand for the chrome wheels when the car comes with factory leather.

There are probably other dealers doing this, as well as owners who like chrome wheels.

I ended up with another dealer at sticker with factory leather.

I committed the same sin in February '04. Chromed stock rims - $3000 extra from Penske Toyota in Downey, CA. After sleeping on it I called them the next day to express my displeasure with being "taken to the cleaners" and they must have agreed. They sent me a refund check for just over $1600 (half the original price plus tax). Haven't been back since! <_<
