OK, this is a long shot, but worth a try. Anyone know of any dealers West of the Mississippi that have Prius in inventory that are available? <_< I've done lots of calling around and nothing available locally. Figured I'd take a long shot and see if anyone happens to know of any available vehicles.

think I read another tread that they have several on the lots in Salt Lake City. You might go the Toyota.com and put in the zip cod for Salt Lake and find the dealer inventories. That's how I found mine here in Panama City. Good Luck. :)

Call Tony Devino in Ogden, or Karl Malone Toyota. I'll venture to guess either one will have them in stock, but Tony Devino was a much more pleasant experience for me. I got my package #3 at MSRP. Karl Malone had a 6, an 8, and a 5 sitting on it's lot, and a 3 was getting off the truck when I finished test driving the 6. Granted that was 3 weeks ago, but I imagine not a lot has changed.

Town Toyota in East Wenatchee, WA usually has some in stock. And they are nearly always able to do a dealer allocation swap. They are also very plesant to deal with.

If you call, ask for Corey Rowles and tell him that Jerome sent you.

SB - 909 381-4444 (Ask for Richard he was the guy that helped me)

    MV - 951 247-8000

Good luck and hope you get one soon :)

Campbell Toyota in Hermiston, OR has a blue package 4, they will sell it for MSRP but not under that.

Check with Tri-City Motors in Pasco, WA they may have some but I'm not sure.

Wow, well sometimes the long shot pays off. The first couple replies with pointers to the Salt Lake City area were dead nuts on. Called all the dealers in the SLC area and came across 3 cars, 2 on the lot and 1 inbound in 2 weeks. Amazingly all were in the packages I'd want and one each of the 3 colors I like. The inbound vehicle ended up selling the night before but had not shown up on their system as such yet, so we spent a little time on that one fruitlessly. That's OK, one of the cars available was a Seaside #6, exactly what I have on order.

Chuck at Mark Miller Toyota was fantastic to work with over the phone. He secured the car and put together the deal we could both go with. They are now putting in the leather and Clear Bra (hood, bumpers, mirrors, headlights, etc.) and I'll fly out to SLC next Saturday to get it and drive it back to Colorado.

I am so jazzed. Two days ago I was seriously bummed because I was told my order likely would not come in before the Sept. 30 tax credit deadline, and today I have a car :D

As a side note for others - Derek at Brent Brown Toyota was also wonderful. I went with the car at Mark Miller because Chuck really was on the ball and knew what he was doing over the phone. They also had the Seaside which was my first choice, while Brent Brown had a Silver Pine Mica which is my 2nd choice. As 'sl7vk' mentioned, the experience talking with Karl Malone Toyota was not great. They quoted $2K over MSRP and said that everyone in the area was selling well over MSRP. I told them that was a crock and if they wanted to sell me the car at MSRP then call me back. Never heard back from them.

Anyone looking for a Silver Pine Mica #6, call Derek at Brent Brown. It was still available at the end of the day yesterday.

Thanks everyone for the references. That worked amazingly well. The color and package I want, and only a 7 hour drive away.

Hey, congrat's. Glad the tip helped. I used to live in SW Wyoming and have bought from Mark MIller before, so I am glad they came through for you. Hope you love the car as much as I do mine. You should enjoy the drive back across I-80 in it. :D

Mark Miller is excellent, they just didn't have what I needed at the time. I'm going to take my car there to get serviced though. I'm glad things worked out for you, lf you need a ride from the airport let me know. I'm serious. Cheers!

Toyota of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA (owned by the same company that owns Longo, where I got mine) has 5 2006's in their online inventory. They sell @ MSRP as well. These 5 look to be lower end packages ($23-24K...pkg 2 or 3 maybe??)

Yes. Call Willey Honda in Bountiful Utah. I was quoted 800 dollars below MSRP on the Civic Hybrid. They don't negotiate on price, they just have a price, always below MSRP, take it or leave it. I was quoted something like 21,700 for the Civic from those guys before I bought the Prius. They didn't have any on the lot, but you could order them and expect one in 4-6 weeks.
