2004 Toyota Hybrid "Ready" light won't turn on.

    Once you disconnect/replace the 12v battery the codes are cleared.

    Did you write down the previous codes before clearing?

    For those of you possibly reading this I finally had it towed to my mechanic. He said it was the converter belt so he had to change that and reset the codes. The total cost was $860. This car is not worth all the trouble..

    Sounds like the miracle cure:p.

    But similar to a wallet flush I bet:whistle:.

    @Belmamba : is the mechanic familiar with hybrids? Is Riverside the So Cal version? Have you attempted @Avi's Advanced Automotive as an option?

    After hearing that diagnosis I’d look to another mechanic ;).
