From your screenshots, it may seem not working but the good thing is you're getting positive responses from the ECU, not the 7F negative responses previously. Could you take the screenshots of the full responses from the OBD2 PID Editor (Settings->Other settings->Manage available OBD2 PIDs->Add custom PID)?

Do you know if the Reverse Beep Disable code is the same for the Prime? 3bac40
I put it into TorqueLite and the app seems to be talking to the wifi OBDII, but the continuous beeps continue.
I see that there is a 327 Terminal app. Could I just send the code using one of those?

No change. The same disable PID used on the gen-3 and my PHV also worked on the Prime.

 

Ok, thanks. I just sent 3bac40 using a terminal app. Now, anytime I put the car in D or R, I get the Main Warning (triangle exclamation point) flashing and the associated high pitch sound. It does not go off. I waited quite a while. Also, Torque and the terminal app will no longer connect with the OBDII dongle, so I cannot read any codes. Should I even drive it?

 

Leaving the system connected when restarting the car will trigger a host of errors. Make sure everything is off/unplugged first.

I've used the same phone, app, and ODB-II reader to disable (reduce the beep to one) in Prius at gatherings too. Everytime, it only takes a minute. Just plug in and open Torque to that screen with the widget.

 

Thank you both. At first, the change did not seem to take. In fact, both Torque and the Terminal app stopped communicating with the car and anytime I put it in R or D, the car gave me the Maintenance Warning (exclamation in a triangle) and a horrible noise that would not stop. I left the car for 30 minutes to go sulk about how I was now going to have to go into the dealer and had just cost myself hundreds of dollars. But when I came back out, not only was the Maintenance Warning gone, but the reverse beep as well !! In any case, thank you very much.

 

for the record, I ended up being able to do it with TorqueLite. Thank you for your work.

 

Are the full set of PIDs for the Prime still unknown? I've got a Bluetooth OBD2 module, and managed to turn off the backup beeps with the Prius Tweak app, and am looking at basic data with Torque Lite, but sure would like the get the full suite of PIDs working...

 

So the battery SOC PID 747:227A76 doesn't work? I can only get 7F response.

 

Purchased a new prime and miss information like RPM engine temp etc. I have an iPhone now but my old android phone has been put into use for this purpose. Using hybrid assistant but also bought and want to learn how to setup torque.
Love seeing kW pull or push from electric motor and engine rpm.
Hoping to learn how to add the additional codes you have shared and getting a really good view of what is going on in my hybrid system ! Exciting stuff

 

The app was recently updated. It's quite nice. Here's a recent drive I captured on the way home back from work...

 

What ODB device do you use? My BAFX Bluetooth for Android ODB2 unit doesn't dispay the braking data for some reason...

Does anybody have a State Of Charge pid for the Prius Prime? None of the custom ones, or the ones in this thread work.
