Last night I went for a drive, and the road turned to dirt.. I drove about a mile on the road before I turned around. Then afterwards My car started making this sound.. There's nothing dragging, and I cant seem to figure out what it is.. any ideas? Thanks!

In the old days, that could have been gravel rattling inside a hubcap. But that may be inconsistent with any Prius wheel cover configuration.

Could some gravel be rattling between the brake disk and some sheet metal shield around the brake caliper? Do a few wheel revolutions in Reverse change everything?

It does sound like something sliding in something circular, like loose gravel.

Like Fuzzy says sounds like rock in between the caliper dust plate and the rotor. But the loud crash at the end where you run over something good god whats that noise lol?

To me, that sounded like a loose manhole cover or expansion joint.

+1 on a stone in a brake mechanism. Have someone walk alongside you as you drive slowly to pinpoint which wheel, but given the noise front left is likely.
