    Good plan(y).

    We just got our 4.3 kWh system up and running and it is great ;).

    Produces on average 28 kWh a day, which was sized just enough to sneak a Prime into the mix once our 2010 gets too long in the tooth:).

    Scoped out the z3 you’ll be using yet:whistle:?

    My wife wants me to build her an all-electric BMW Z3 when the Firebrid is done.

    Haven't found the right Z3 yet. I need a creampuff with a blown engine. Once the new garage is up and running the search will be on!

    I guess she saw the Royal Couple's E Type Jag and wants to outdo it? There was a report in the local news about a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow EV conversion here in Australia - not quite finished, but I'll be interested to see what range that land-barge gets.

    Judiciously applied duct tape to keep the car cover from shredding on sharp edges. :rolleyes:

    Getting close to moving day!

    The Prius v parking brake assembly was installed in a temporary location and is functional. In the future it will need to be welded to the Firebird mounting bracket so that it will be in the correct position. I simply ran out of time.

    The rear wheels are back on the ground so that the car can be stopped when loading onto the trailer. Also the trunk lid is back on the car so that the car cover has something to rest on in the rear without flopping into the opening going down the road.

    Finally, I mounted the bike rack onto the trailer hitch so that the bikes don't need to take up space in the U-haul truck.

    My folks live in PA and it’s expected to be in the mid to high 90’s:eek:.

    It’ll be 100 out here today, but that’s not abnormal.

    Make sure to hydrate and take it easy as you move;).

    The Firebrid is safely tucked into its new temporary storage unit in Delaware awaiting the day when it can finally be moved to the planned heated garage at the yet-to-be-built house. All of the project parts, etc., are a couple of units away. Sadly, this means the project updates will be taking a break for about a year until that finally happens. Time to go back into planning mode!

    The whole "project" took two more days than we planned, but all of the tasks are done. The remainder of the household will be Delaware residents by the end of the month!
