Possible source for MANY Die Cast 1/34 Scale Prii w/ front doors that open

    Mine arrived today. Here's a picture of it with its younger sister with the doors closed and the doors open. The pictures were of course taken inside Blue Belle.

    A couple of interesting things....
    • On the Tomy (the one on the left) the steering wheel is on the right side. One this one the steering wheel is on the left.
    • There's a couple of tiny suitcases in the back seat. I guess the teeny tinny driver forgot them. :)
    All in all, it's a great toy and thank you Rufaro for setting this up. :D

    I had to leave the doors open to 1) air out that new car smell, and 2) vacuum out all the crumbs from the Wee Pree drivers' donuts/cheerios they ate on the way to my house.

    And just so you know, I found the Wee Pree drivers. They had gotten into a lot of trouble. Two of my four cats had them cornered. The only way I found them is because they started yelling, "LION! LION!" I rescued them and fed them a nice dinner of grilled shrimp with baby corn and mini cheesecakes for dessert. I dropped them off at the Mini dealership so they could find some work.

    Well, I'm in the group that ordered more than 2, and mine are already in the mail, so I'm assuming our Wee Pri queen is almost caught up with shipping them all out.     Got em yesterday. Extremely cool! I have one of them on my desk this morning and everyone is talking about this one almost as much as the one I have in the parking lot.

    About those Wee Pri drivers.......one of the cars reeked of alcohol and I think there is vomit in the floor on the passengers side. Same car has several roaches (not bugs) in the floor and a Grateful Dead bumper sticker on it.

    MAN THESE THING ARE FAST! They have a great glide time too! :D They also have an efficient pull back ratio! Pull back 5 inches and they go forever! I think they would beat a life size prius on a 1/4 mile track. ;)

    Please correct my math...

    10 real feet in WeePri land is 340 feet.

    My WeePri traveled 10 feet in about 3 seconds. ( I don't have a good stretch of race track. Had to use about 3 feet of hard surface and 7 feet of very short carpet. )

    340 feet divided by 3 sec is about 113 feet per second.

    113 feet per second is about 77MPH in WeePri land or 2.27MPH real world.

    Anyone want to race? B) :D
