I now have a 2013 with nav. My 2010 nav was much better, but they both are terrible. The radio on the 2013 doesn't allow for programming the call letters, just shows frequency or channel number for satellite. I have friends with Hondas, Hundais and Nissans, all of which, regardless of trim level outshine the Prius by a mile. Prius has the worst infotainment system I have ever seen. Why is it a car that is so sophisticated in other areas has such a piece of crap installed?

Why would ANY want to listen to a radio with crappy commercials, too many commercials when you can put the
music and/or podcasts you WANT to listen to on an iPhone or iPod?
I ONLY listen to the radio at 5 minutes to the hour for a short news brief.
I only wished my radio was about 10-20% louder. But it sounds great to me.
It's a CAR, you SHOULD be paying attention to the other drivers who AREN'T paying attention on the road! :)

Mine has worked to my satisfaction every time I've used it. It's not great but has been effective so far.

If you got a 2013 Four w/ Deluxe Solar Roof or a Five w/ AT package, you would've gotten the same nav as your 2010 (but upgraded to harddrive based - so faster loading of data).

The standard nav is the 6.1" Display Audio system that looks like an aftermarket unit.

I have a 2010 with Nav and a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL2 - they are both equally adequate for the time period they were developed. Both use DVDs, both will get you where you need to be. Both have the ability to connect to XM traffic.

My point, the Prius Nav is no worse than that of a car that, when new, cost twice that of the Prius. Get this, in Buick's best at the time, and it doesn't have BT audio - just BT phone and an iPod USB connection. No Android allowed....LOL.

It was great before our phones were doing the job.
