Hello, I'm new here and thinking about buying a prius prime! However, I have had trouble finding pre-tax, out the door prices for my area in SoCal. Also, on truecar, they do not provide information for models newer than 2017. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction? Thanks
Take a browse through here. The title says 2017 but it was started way back then. Just look at the last few pages for this year's prices. 2017 Prius Prime - official prices paid thread | Page 90 | PriusChat
I found a forum dealer offering Advances for $30,500 including the $1,500.00 rebate so no 1.9% APR. Not sure if this is a good deal or not. I shopped a bit a edmunds and true car and it seems better than most of those offers.
I got a new 2017 Silver Premium in May from Frontier Toyota in Valencia for $27,598.50 pre-tax sale price. Total with taxes and fees was $30,239.71. Went with 2017 model as it provided me with 0% financing. Good luck!
I am looking for 2018 prius prime plus. I am in san francisco bay area. I checked with local dealers via txt/email. Paid visit to dealer also. I am getting following OTD price. Dealer in milpitas area quotes $28596 OTD Best deal so far which i got is $27,000 OTD above price includes tax of 9.25% truecar quotes for 2018 toyota prius prime plus is 24648 (inclusive of destination charge) doesn't include license fee, dealer charge, tax I can come down to los angeles area If it is $1000 or $2000 lesser in los angeles area, Please let me know if any one got a great price. Can you give me an idea on how much will cut further to close the deal ?. I didn't find lot of posting for prius 2018 prime cars. Can you pointer to webpage if I missed. Appreciate your guidance and response.
I just picked up a 2018 Prime Plus, 2 days ago in Central California for $24195 before TTL. I will also get a total of $4000 in rebates (CA and local rebates) which brings the cost down to $20195. I will still qualify for the $4502 Federal Tax Credit. iPhone ?
With current CAD to USD exchange, I paid $29,400 USD for a fully loaded 2018 "Prime Upgrade With Technology" pkg (which would be the same as the Prime Advanced). This also included block heater and front mud flaps. Being that there was no actual dealer stock of 2018 Primes in Alberta when we ordered this past February, they would only knock $500 off the asking price. This was the same at all three Toyota dealerships in my area.
Thanks for everyone for input. I purchased 2018 toyota prime plus for $26800 OTD in one of bay dealer after applying toyota $1500 discount, other dealer discount etc. Tax comes to 9.25%. Few dealers in north of san francisco willing to do at this price. Toyota slowly increased $500 rebate to $1500 for july long weekend. They may increase rebate for labour day weekend. Since spent lot of effort in researching and reaching to all dealers in bay area, thought of closing at the above price. I am not sure whether this a best price. Hope it is not a bad deal either. I was previous owner of toyota camry 1999 and toyota prius 2016. Bought it only because of reliability.
Seems a decent deal to me. Which dealer did you end up going with and what color? Enjoy your new Prime .
I got it from dublin toyota. Another dealer is telling me that they can't beat dublin's toyota's price because they are volume dealer, selling 500+ cars per month. Vallejo toyota also equally beating the price.
Looking at a 18 Prius Plus...was offered a price of 24715.... plus dealer doc fee of 449, plus tax and license etc. The MSRP is 28,537. That seems like a good price and it includes the july $2000 rebate.....also if I get the $4000 tax credit, ....I am looking a 20,415 or there abouts plus Doc Fee, tax and license. Seems good...thoughts?
I'm trying to buy a 2018 Prius Prime or maybe Prius C. I was reading about an article on how to get the "Fair Profit New Car Offer" when buying a new car. Does anybody tried it? Did it work? autocheatsheet com Incentive & Rebate Fair Profit Offer Example $19,900.00 = Sticker price of new car $16,461.00 = Factory invoice (Including factory added options) $597.00 - Subtract holdback (3% of MSRP *amount varies) $1,000.00 - Subtract factory to dealer incentive $14,864.00 = Dealer's true net new car cost $594.56 + 4% fair profit offer (Dealer's true cost x 4%) $15,458.56 = Subtotal $1,500.00 - Subtract customer rebate $13,958.56 = Your calculated fair profit new car offer
No. I don't have a Prius. I am in the process of buying one. The one on my profile is not correct. I have to put something in there to create my profile Edit. Now I changed it.
