I am wondering about my MPG? I bought a 2010 Prius with Touring pkg. I am only doing local driving around 40 to 60 kph My average is saying 5.4 to 5,3 lite per 100 km. I am in Canada The vehicle has been well maintained with 267000 kms on odometer. Is this normal and if not what can I do to get better MPG? Thanks

    welcome!
what does canada testing say that you should be getting?

    the u.s. benchmark is 50 mpg, or 4.7 liters/100km.

touring wil get a little less, due to larger wheels. probably around 5 l/km.

with as many km as you have on it, besides the usual suspects, wear and tear have probably taken their toll, and might require some major non scheduled services to bring your usage down.

short trips that don't go well behind warm up are a killer, and of course, winter is worse than summer.

have you done the priuschat recommended egr circuit and intake manifold cleaning?
does your car burn any oil?

It does not burn any oil and wondering if fuel injectors should be cleaned I will look into your suggestions It works out for me to be around 52 mpg but that is based on the imperial gallon
