One year and 22,000 miles later....

    Yes, it moves back but that still isn't enough for me. I can raise the seat "up," I can tilt the steering column "up." But once I'm "in place" (that is, driving), it's very apparent my legs are straddling the column. In my shifting around (read that, squirming, changing positions during long drives) my knees sometimes hit the column eliciting a pain response.
    It's just a small car.

    Probably the best response I've read to my own dilemma. Now I know I'm not "nuts" thinking as I do. (Unless you're just joking....?!)

    I have a Model S and the Prime is MUCH easier for me to get in and out of. Once in, the S is much more comfortable but the Prime is one of the most comfortable front seats I have ever owned. I often took it on 300 plus mile stretches without a break and the seats were among the best.

    As far as buttons..... The model X and S both have 2, count them, 2 buttons in the car: 1 for the Flashers and 1 to open the glove box. The Model 3 has 1 button so I guess you could say it has 50% less buttons :) The rest is controlled by the giant touch screen and it is very intuitive. I would have it no other way now. I felt the same as you first though....

    NOTE: there are some multi function scroll wheels and click buttons on the steering wheel (think MOUSE for a computer) that perform the most common things the one would access frequently and menus to easily and quickly program them as your needs change. It's really more convenient than having all the buttons.

    If you decide to try a different car before you get the Tesla. You might try the Kia Niro plug-in hybrid has about the same range in EV mode, but it's a small CUV, that you might find easier to get in and out of and more comfortable to drive. Also it uses a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission so it drives more like a regular car. They make a regular hybrid version also both get excellent fuel economy for the size of the vehicle.

    I have the same feeling with seats but found that I could adjust the seat higher.
