Phone microphones are actually good enough, but the problem is, there lots of ambient noises in a car and it's hard to make a quality recording. Sometimes postproduction frequency filtering helps.
Anyhow, there is a some faint noise in the recording and it doesn't sound like the recording in the posts I linked to (that sound like a clock ticking). Must be something else.

Your car 's brakes ie rotors and disks or drums and shoes are mechanically stopping the car when you are in neutral (see your post above) so there can not be an issue in that area of the brakes . The sound must be coming from the regenerative braking that is only active in B or D . The components involved in regenerative braking need close examination by the dealer as strain on them during the braking process is causing the noise. This is an obvious observation and it may seem I am not telling you anything you do not know but the braking process is coming from 2 components working together, when one process ( rotor and disk braking) makes no noise and the other (drive axel and other rotating parts) makes noise have the mechanic look in that direction for the source of the problem. I have changed the drive axel on my older prius when it had a vibration and made noise, sounds like your right hand drive axel is causing the squeal. If that is the case it is not an expensive fix. If it is in the box where the drive axel spline enters it could be much more expensive to repair. If the axel has any slop or looseness it will not usually pass a safety check (In Canada) and the axel would have to be replaced.
