I had to replace the windshield on my 2012 and they did not use OEM glass. I'm glad they didn't, because the OEM 2012 glass had a tendency to display ghost images which the replacement glass does not.

My neighbor had someone out replacing the windshield of his Lecus, so I asked the person if he replaced windows on the side, and he charged me $150 to replace my windshield about a year or so ago when it had cracked from a rock chip. The guy used aftermarket China glass, but it's held up fine thus far.

Well it turns out my windshield got cracked again. I looked back and it was actually $170 that he charged me for the work, but he's not answering the phone number anymore. If anyone knows a good cheap windshield replacement shop in SoCal, I would appreciate a PM. I'm glad I only paid $170, even if it was cheap China glass (turned out fine for 3 years).
