Cleaned Hybrid Battery cooling system, to be safe (worrier herer) I pulled the Hybrid Batter Interlock, after I put everything back in I got a "Hybrid System Malfunction" and the car won't start. How do I resolve this??? Please? I posted in the Technical Forum on this as well. I'm worrying as I need the car tomorrow. Thanks.

generally, people forget the last step. slide after snapping down.

if not, check the wiring at the fan.

The disconnect is a fuse that could be checked. I have heard of some who did not get it in all the way so I would take it out and try again.

Double checked the interlock plug was slid over to LOCK. Read on a few other places that you have to power cycle the car a few times. I made the mistake of freaking out when I saw the message and immediately powered down the car, never giving enough time for engine to even start up. Once I did it about 6 times the message stopped appearing! Whew! Thanks guys for all your help, I just wanted to be sure I got everything done right. Especially being able to save about $300+ on the Dealer charged cleaning of the battery cooling system, lots of dust and dirt in the inlet cover screen, now it's all clear.
