That is the way to go when it comes to LED upgrade, that's the real deal and will last for many years. But the OP is trying to save battery life and gas but will sell it the next year. Chances are HV battery and 12 bat won't crap out within a year due to halogen so it would be wise just to keep stock headlight and maximize wallet savings.

Straying from the OP a bit but I have 6k LED's from VLED's and they are super white and not blue at all. To the OP, I say just do it... You will be happier that you did. I can see way better at night and I adjusted the beam to be a little lower than normal to help with oncoming glare... Unless you really want to get into a money dump and either buy an OEM LED headlight assembly or bake yours and retrofit.. Id just buy them but keep in mind, you get what you pay for..

So far, you betcha.. I've had them installed for about 5 months now, no issues. Others that I purchased from Amazon would start to flicker after the 3rd month and then die. I've purchased some from iJDM which were terrible.. From HIDextra which would allow condensation into the housing (yes they were installed correctly and straight, their warranty was great, got a new set 3 times but finally gave up on them) So far the vleds have been money well spent.

If they're 6000K, they're blue. I work with light color temperature for video production on a daily basis. To make an incandescent light (3200K) match daylight (5600K) we add a blue gel to the light fixture -- and the result is blue tinted light. If you're at 6000K, you're way blue.

So I’ve installed my headlights and they are a little dimmer than my Halogen. I had my brother see if it’s blinding and he said no. My mother drove passed me last night and she said she didn’t notice they were LEDS.

So I’m wondering if all LEDS are different? Will Vleds be similar to Xenon?

Your halogens didn't blind so if your LEDs are dimmer then it shouldn't blind either. The LEDs should have been an improvement if properly aimed, engineered to be compat with your prius.

With all the ones that I have tried, they have all been different, so yeah.. If the vleds don't pan out my next stop was to try the Morimoto LED's which are a little cheaper but by a reputable lighting source.

You got 5K'd like me also. I ordered vleds 6k parking leds, they sent me 6k. Had no tint of blue like the ones I've seen on youtube and as they described on their site. I sent it back to them, they paid postage and sent me another 6k pair. Still no tint blue, I kept it because I won't die or lose sleep if they're not tint blue. They do have 3 year warranty policy and that doesn't exist with any other companies so it was fine keeping them.

But beware, VLEDS don't offer true 6K leds.
