    Hello,

    I don't know too much about Toyota's.
I'm in the military and am planning on buying a used 2012 Toyota Prius, from a family friends used car dealership.

I've checked on Toyota's website for any missing Recalls/TSBs the car might have, it came up good.
I've also taken a look at the Car Fax and AutoCheck report on it, everything seems alright.

I was planning to test drive it and if nothing seems out of the norm, take it over to the Toyota Dealership down the street, and get a Pre-Purchase inspection. And also have them make sure the recalls/TSBs have been done.

Other than all of this, is there anything else I could/should do?
Or is this about cover it, as far as trying to make sure I know I'll be buying a good used Prius?

I have a Gen 3 that I bought used when it had 19k miles on it and a year old. eight years later, I now have 115k miles and aside from a wheel bearing replacement in both rears and of course the usual maintenance stuff, the car has been bullet proof. (y)

Very optimistic, some of us wake up after a nightmare thinking if I don’t clean the EGR, I’ll be dead on road one day.
