    Are these just L2 or will there be some fast DC chargers?

    Last year, Tennessee was full of Blink chargers with fast CHAdeMO at dozens of Cracker Barrels. In 2017 I was headed home and grabbed a charge at the L2 charger at the Kimball, TN store. Now Plugshare shows they have all been removed.

    Anyone know what happened?

    UPDATE

    Apparently ECOtality, the company that contracted with Cracker Barrel, went broke and became or was bought by Blink. The results don't look good:

    I'm thinking there must be a boat-load to Cracker Barrels with unused or capped, 50 kW capable, utility grade, platforms. One flaw is they only had CHAdeMO, not CCS stations. So I was reduced to using their L2 charger and that was 'unimpressive.'

    Today, we have more than 54,000 charging spots globally, with the vast majority being in North America. We anticipate that approximately half will be in North America and half will be in Europe. A small percentage will also be outside of the two markets (the 2.5M assumption is based on North America and Europe being our primary markets. China is not included)

    Just as is the case today, the mix of chargers will span across fast and ultra-fast charging as well as level 2 AC charging. Also similar to today, we expect that the overwhelming majority of chargers will be level 2 AC, with a smaller percentage being fast and ultra-fast charge.
