Some failed mechanical rotation type of noise

    2009 Prius, I can hear it only when the car is stopped, brake stop at a light/traffic or when parked.

    I have recorded it, unable to include a link or upload an mp3 :(
    It seems to come right the driver side under the hood, somewhere below the battery/engine.
    Appreciate any help.

    I had what sounded like a tapping or grinding in my 2006 that turned out to be the water pump. On the left side as you face the car from the front.
