P0AA6 code on 2007 Prius

    If you follow the conversation, it was failure of the rebuilt batteries that were installed.

    Sounds somewhat similar to the position you now find yourself in.

    @dina p if it is indeed your battery again and you plan to keep the vehicle long-term while saving money on a new main battery...
    NewPriusBatteries.com | Home may be a viable option at $1600. You can also defray the cost by selling your current battery.

    Mine was PA006 with a 612 sub code. That leads directly to the hybrid battery. There are a couple more sub codes. One is A/C, the other is transaxle. The codes are pretty specific. There’s a good chance it’s just the hybrid battery. I’d replace with a new battery and move along. Clearing the codes, for me, worked to get the car running long enough to limp it home. As soon as I shut it down, though, it wouldn’t restart without clearing the codes again.
