The wiring harness on the original CD player doesn't match any colors known to traditional radio wiring.I just want to use the harness on the CD player on my new blaupunkt media receiver to hook up to the car.have included pictures, if anyone can help me figure out which colors go to which IdI'd greatly appreciative.

I'd be keen to hook up something to my audio system but according to the myriad of threads on here it's by far from the easiest thing to do. The audio system is not standalone as such (doubtless I'm using the wrong choice of words) so trying to remove it or disconnect it impacts a mixture of other car systems. I remember seeing an aftermarket connector / splitter that can be used in place of the plug from the CD player into the audio system head unit, but I haven't seen anyone try it out. I have, however, seen someone connect a Parrot to their Gen 1, if you search for it you should find it in here.

If you find a clean elegant way of doing this - I'd be interested. Not keen on the FM systems and naturally I don't want to damage the dashboard (another risk as they naturally get brittle over time).
