How do I upload/include a sound file in a post?

What type of sound file--3gp? mp3? What?

All sound file names are grayed out when I click the Photos, Files, Videos icon below.

The choices are Camera, Gallery, Attachment. Only Attachment makes any sense and that's where any sound file I pick--no matter the format--is grayed out.

Maybe this is telling me I can't upload ANY sound file.

Help?

If you can manage to upload a youtube video, post a link to it here? Is there such a think as audio-only youtube. At any rate, with a video you've got the sound.
