    my 2017 Prius V
    when the bumper DRL is on the high bean also on,
    any way to turn off the high bean, leave only the bumper DRL?

    Is Toyota still using that expensive green relay for the high beam DRLs? Might be able to do a messy mod.....

    I think it would require changes to the wiring or to the firmware in the Main Body ECU.

    In the Electrical Wiring Diagram (more info), see the Headlight pages in the System Circuit section, which show how the DRL assemblies in the bumper (which Toyota also calls the “accessory lights”) are controlled by the DRL relay, with its coil connected between battery and the DRLE terminal of the Main Body ECU. This relay and terminal are different from the DRL module, integration relay, and HRLY, DRL, and DIM terminals involved in headlight control. The Repair Manual also shows the circuit, under Vehicle Exterior: Lighting (Ext): Lighting System: Accessory Light Circuit.
