Hi guys, I'm having a big issue. The previous owner changed the compressor, so it started to.work. I bought the car and as soon as I left the whole thing shut down on the highway at night in rain 6 lanes me in the middle (no lights no power steering brakes nothing). I get few error codes, one P0A93 which is the inverter water pump. I changed the battery, became worse and would shut off. Got a brand new 12v battery yet again, now better. But sometimes the compressor goes on sometimes just turns off and blows unconditionned air. Sometimes I let the car sit off for 20 minutes and ac would turn on after. Sometimes not. I now have 2 12v batteries connected lol and car is functioning better but still. Setting dont matter, auto or not doesn't matter (never use auto, I'm iMiami the setting is always on 69. The red triangle of death is on, sometimes I get the code sometimes it functions normally and goes off without erasing. Just very weird things are happening with the car. I do deliveries at 3 jobs and it's now getting to a point where I'm tired of spending money and not getting the ac problem fixed. Also oxygen sensor code but that really shouldn't have anything to do with this. Any help will be VERY VERY APPRECIATED! P.s. could it still be the battery after having 2 replaced in 2 days? It's some aftermarket crap. It also loses power, and lights flicker. However how can this be the 12v battery fault, it should be able to drive without it even being connected. I tried, it was running same way. No other codes aside from the bones in picture from torque pro. Please advise anything, I lost my job and now working deliveries, very low on money and bad on income which is defendant on the car. Apparently a new code just popped up as I was making a test, its p2238 o2 sensor positive current control circuit. I'm so lost.

Well... There's other work to do, but first be certain you have the highest quality battery possible. Not sure if you can get your money back for the previous one? OR maybe it just needs a trickle charge? I prefer the 55amp-hour mobility/home back up power supply battery from Batteries Plus for $139. Super strong battery. You also need some longer bolts and bushings from Hardware store to make sure the car's terminals are solidly bolted in place. The current configuration with your 12volt in photo is gonna be a problem sooner than later.

Next step is replacing your inverter cooling pump... In hot weather in Florida running the A/C means the power inverter is gonna have to do some work, and without an inverter cooling pump you might damage your inverter. You can drive car short distances without inverter pump if you don't use A/C and put a bag of ice on top of the inverter. Once you get the inverter pump replace and 12v system running strong, then you can go after the A/C issue.

When hybrid battery fails the car goes into limp mode and it shuts the ac system off to conserve power.

I see the car turtle on the mfd that’s usually the hybrid battery. You may not be able to pull hybrid codes with the obd your using.

Do you have the 12 volt leads taped to the battery?

This doesn't compute. You changed the 12V battery because the inverter water pump threw a code? You have classic symptoms of an overheating inverter. Did you even take the top off the inverter coolant reservoir tank to see if it's pumping?

The ac is not working because it shuts down when the inverter overheats. It'll work again when the car cools.

Change the inverter pump and it should be fine
