Stupid triangle of death, it seems like every time I touch this car I get a new code. I recently changed a bad cell, inverter pump and coolant and 12 volt. I cleaned the MAF, blower and throttle plate. Now I have the following codes:

C0124 R rear inlet cellenoid valve
C0126 L rear inlet cellenoid valve
    C1310 Skid control
    C1359 HV regenerative braking fault

Incidentally T2 battery temp was 126F. Charge dropped ounce under stress of city driving (highway fine).

Do these codes have a common solution? Thanks again.

C1310 means the skid control ECU thinks that the hybrid drivetrain has a problem.
C1359 means the rear left solenoid is malfunctioning. This could be due to the brake actuator, skid control ECU or associated wiring harness.

I do not believe the other two DTC are valid Prius DTC so you may have a problem with your code reader. Since the code reader is not reporting any Pxxxx codes associated with the hybrid drivetrain, that is more evidence you need a better code reader. I suggest Mini VCI.

My guess is that your car has two unrelated problems: a problem with the braking system is certain, and possibly a hybrid drivetrain problem persists. This could be related to the traction battery, or transaxle, or inverter - you would need to be able to retrieve the fault codes to say.

I was wondering if "C1359" could have just been a typo for "C1259" (it's C1259 in the thread title).

C1259 is often seen with C1310; they both mean that the brake ECU has heard news of trouble in the hybrid system, so the codes from the HV and battery ECUs should be reviewed to get the real scoop.

Another thing that often happens is people read codes using scanners that don't know about the HV and battery ECUs, but do know about the brake ECU (most cars have one), so the scanner will show the C1310 and C1259, but not the codes that are the reason you have C1310 and C1259.

Excellent observation. If there was a typo then you are right, it would appear the braking system may be reporting an issue with the hybrid drivetrain.

So, were you able to drive the car (code free) after working on the HV battery, or did the codes show up immediately after the work you performed?

There are three plugs on the HV battery. Large plug goes to ecu. Small plug goes to the safety switch interlock. Middle sized plug is for the relay control. Any chance you didn't fully connect the mid-sized plug?

I was able to drive code free after fixing the battery. I had hoped replacing the 12 v would make it all better, but seemingly not. I am driving the car without problems, just one eye on the Torque app all the time.
