    Slim wall is important, clearance is very tight?

    I have both of those sockets and use them on O2 sensors rusted into manifolds for the last 25 years. The second one, looking like a deep socket is OK for reinstalling an O2, sensor, but I've had this socket spread as I'd attempt to wrench it out. The first socket referenced is much stronger with thicker walls. It's my Go-To socket if I have to remove a sensor. It's never failed me.

    It can't be thick to fit the shielded sensor on the Prius.

    i only had the deeper socket last week when i did mine. I had to cut and move the shield out of my way (big pita). After that it was no big deal.

    yeah, you should be using an oxygen sensor socket with any oxygen sensor to keep from damaging the wire or plug
