i went thru a huge rain puddle at fast speed now i get a clunk noise no start

    I was in a really big hurrry yesterday an went thru a huge rain puddle it now will not start it turns over an makes one clunk noise an nothing further . i let it all dry out but still nothing happens the battery is charged up an it still nothing . please can someone let me no if theres a problem that i can do to start it . its not even trying to start just that clunk noise one time .

    I bet something is still wet. Might try letting it sit with 12v and main battery disconnected. I've run through big puddles and sometimes it will cause my ac to stop working and the ac switch light to blink. After a few minutes it goes back to normal though.

    Some questions:
    • Did it shut down immediately?
    • Did it display any lights at the time of the incident?
    • What equipment and how did the Prius get “dried out”?
    • When did the incident happen?
