I’ve been searching far and wide and I can find plenty up to 2009 about the hid levelling sensor failing and potential fixes, but I can’t seem to find the lot about the 2010 except the part is almost $300 ... not only does the failure trigger a constant rapid flashing ⚠️ But it also takes over the whole screen that shows the car display info ... i’ve only had this car couple weeks I’m trying to fix the multiple problems on it, does anybody know how to trick the system or how to somehow bypass this without having to spend all this money ? I can’t crack open the sensor like you can with the pre-2010, not only that the headlights look perfectly fine and are not too high ... it’s a ridiculous warning for the severity of the problem, and the price of the part is outrageous.

    Thanks

You've got the LED headlights? And the 17" rimsI'm looking through the 2010 Toyota Canada brochure, there's:

    Base
    Premium
    Premium w/ Solar
    Technology
    Touring

As far as I know, only the Touring has the LED headlights and the "auto leveling headlamp system".

The auto leveler is mounted between the back side of the rear wheel solid axle and the adjacent body panel underside; you can see it just looking under there.

There is a hack for the gen2 Prius that involves installing a potentiometer in place of the sensor.

Have you found those threads and seen if you can do the same trick?
