Configuration for Amplifers

    Hi guys,

    Below I the configuration of my current audio system..

    How do I configure the gain and cut off frequency of each amplifier? The pioneer gm 9604 also has option to choos LPF/OFF/HPF.

    Oh I want that processor!
    Well the cut frequency set for the driver your using. Sub probably 60hz, front and rear high pass at 60hz. Gain another story. That processor has a lot of output so I'm sure those need to be down.

    Hehe..that a nice processor. What if I dont use filters for front and rear amplifier,?

    Be sending low bass to the door speakers which can't produce it anyhow. Straining woofers and competing with the sub.

    Yep..I have installed this setup..not satisfy with the mid bass and loudness

    Well not using the high pass filters to remove low bass from your main speakers won't help that. The processor will EQ the car out and should sound excellent.
