You know I was spacing, I was thinking the Chabot Space & Science Museum, it has an observatory too. It is in the Berkeley/Oakland Hills off Hwy. 13, same side of the bay. It is open Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10 AM to 5PM

I'm planning on doing day trips that week with my son (13), so I could kill two birds with one stone meet some Prii people and have some adventures on our last week of summer vacation.

So yeah, basically, I'm down for Chabot August 22nd or 24th (they are not open Wednesday August 23):
Tuesday August 22nd 10 AM
Thursday August 24th afte 2PM

I just got back from Santa Cruz, I'm still going to Chabot today, I won't leave here until 10 AM should get there around 10:45 I imagine, how bad can the bay bridge be? LOL

We had a great time at the Chabot, the ride was decent, short up the hill I'd say maybe 3 miles off the 13, there's actually redwood groves in dem hills!

I scanned the parking lot for Prii before going in saw one at the Redwood amphitheater. I realized that there's a lot more to putting together a rally then just showing up some place, LOL.

I would love to get together, but I think I'm one of the few that works Saturday and Sunday!

I can usually make it any day...just need a decsion from someone...I TRIED and got resounding silence. Someone else gets to be the executive this time!

 

How about we alternate weekdays and weekends...that way we spread the possibility for the different (off) workdays.

Anyone for 9/3,10,17 or 10/1 (Sundays)? How about some weekdays suggestions...berylrb/v8cobrakid?

I'm such a geek now...I posted pictures of "Zbrid" in my gallery...I'm counting tenths of mpg...driving slower just to increase mpg avg...and I even figured out how much I would save if my annual mpg average increased by 1 mpg. OIY! I think I'll need an intervention soon...or maybe I'll just buy a Wee Pri...yeah thats it! WOO

sorry it didn't work out rufaro, but i was there in the oakland hills. i think it just needs more than a forum page to get going, and no i'm not volunteering, that's my day job people work people challenges, in the prius i just want to relax!

Ok gang...you forced me to it. Due to circumstances WAY too boring to go into in detail, I am in an apartment in Richmond for the next couple of months.

How about an "open house" at my place on Labor Day, from, say, 1-ish until whenever...and, apart from the Prii, bring yer own whatever?

Executive decision hereby made!

(And, as to the "more than a post needed..." we can get it on the calendar!)
