    Hi all,

My Prius radiator fan (the right side, view from driver seat) run in full speed non-stop and still continue running after ignition off ( press power button off). I had to unplug the power supply to the radiator to make it stop.

I pulled Fan 2 and Fan 3 relay, but it the fan still spin non-stop. I could not find the Fan 1 relay. Anyone know where the Fan 1 relay is? it would be great if you can capture picture and post.

I also tried to pull all coolant storage temp. sensor, pressure switch sensor and engine temp. sensor. The fan still running (car in power off mode ).

PS : Prius had a front collision some years ago and rebuilt.

    Thanks,

    Chanras Sun.

The Fan #1 relay provides full power to the radiator fan motor.
The Fan #3 relay provides full power to the air conditioner fan motor.
The Fan #2 relay puts the radiator fan and air conditioner fan motors in series, hence both will run at a slower speed.

The Fan #1 relay is part of a four-relay module, Unit C. Within the main relay/fuse box next to the inverter, there are two rectangular modules. One is marked Unit B and the other Unit C.

@Patrick Wong Thank very much for your replay. Yes, you are right.
I want to confirm one more point, is the Fan Relay #1 locate in Integrated Module Unit B ?, and Integrated Module Unit C is for Fuses?
Because I saw a bunch of fuses in Integrated Module Unit C and when I pulled the integrated module Unit B, the fan stops running.

    Thanks,
    Chanras

Maybe your problems will be solved by replacement of the fan running the wrong direction (wrong fan, pushing air out the front instead of pulling), as mentioned in your other thread?

One of my Prius 2007 (rad fan) push air out | PriusChat

Or maybe it's still two separate problems, not sure.

Yes, I think my repair manual info is wrong. Unit B probably contains that relay.

@Mendel Leisk Two different problems. I think my Unit B Relay Integration module is dead, it cause my rad fan ( the right side, view from driver seat) run full speed all the time and need to replace tomorrow.
