    MSRP/List Price: $ 33,473.00
    REBATES & PRICE REDUCTION $ (4,000.00)
"FEES"- BS SELLER add PROFIT $ 486.00
    SELLING PRICE $ 29,959.00
    SALES TAX $ TBD
THE QUALIFYING FEDERAL TAX CREDIT IS $4,204 Is useable for me

My legal esidence is Florida - Never many Primes here ever. This was
purchased in Northern Virginia. MANY similar offers around the country.
    Start in OR.

Was this anywhere near bottom current prices? The 2019 Prime appears unchanged
other than the Apple CarPlay. Is there a way to modify 2018 Prime to use CarPlay?

    Isn't the federal credit $4502?

Or is that $4204 just the portion you can use?

You are correct it is $4,502. My typo. All I can find indicates the 2019 Prime will be with very modest changes. My Prius is my long distance driver - 167k on a Gen III, IV.

Was my 2018 Prime price high?

I'm in North Carolina and purchased my Prime Advanced from Jim Coleman in Bethesda Maryland--made the deal via text message and phone--then drove up there--it was seamless. Also check anywhere in the Northeast.

I am planning to get a 2019 Prime Base Plus around March. I am a Cal - Bay area resident and i was wondering if dealers would allow a price point between invoice and "starting MSRP" mentioned on Toyota website. If i were to assume there are no incentives from Toyota at that time. Reason i ask is i have purchased cars in the past where i was able to haggle for a couple of hundred dollars over the invoice price mentioned on websites and has worked out. How does it work with Norcal Toyota dealers typically ? Should i shop at a dealer out of town where market demands are not as much compared to places like bay area.. Any insight / suggestions in really appreciated.

Happy Merry Christmas to all !!

    welcome!

from what i have read, without toyota incentive, you are probably looking at $500.-$1,000. off. hard to say what the spring will bring with the economy especially.

i would just start emailing every dealer you are interested in driving to.

    all the best!(y)

I want to pick up a Prime in N Virginia, but due to travel I will not be able to until after the current $4000 mfr rebate expires. Does anyone have an educated guess as to whether it will be extended? The CarGurus web site seems to indicate that the primes in that area are not selling.
