Front dome light.

    I swapped out the interior bulbs with LEDs but still wanted the front dome light brighter. So I removed the dome light housing and added two diodes from the center dome light positive to the right and left map light positives. Now when opening the door or using the switch for dome light it is much brighter. Using either map light does not cause the dome or other map light to come on. Simple 3 dollar upgrade.

    Why didn't ya just put brighter led bulbs in?

    Already had the bulbs, 3 bucks was cheap and having all three light up provides a wider beam of light.

    The only downside I can think of is if someone had a map light on to start and you missed it. Then I guess being an LED now the thing could be on for days and not run the battery down.

    No the map lights work 100 percent normally. Yes you could leave it on by the actual map light switch but well...derp, can do that anytime.
