    To the best of my knowledge, the standard metric for unsold inventory in the auto industry is average number of days on the lot. A quick google turned up this:
    FCA's December sales rise; GM, Ford, Toyota dip

    Compared to the industry average, Model 3 inventory, at around three or four days, appears to be phenomenally low.
