Noticed yesterday that Miller Toyota in Manassas, Virginia (DC Metro area) is discounting the Prius again. Looks like $1,000 to $1,500 off sticker. Go here>> and search their new inventory.

Just bought a package #6 at $1000 off MSRP and I would highly suggest everyone check them out...

I bought a #7 with floor mats & wheel locks from them at $1500 below MSRP during their last sale.

Pros: Friendly, efficient dealer. Amazing sale price.

Cons: Costs about $40 to get there by taxi from Dulles (my dealer recommended a taxi). They charged a $286 "processing fee," and they didn't even process my out-of-state license & registration (they said they were willing to, but that there was an extra charge, about $400 as I recall). It takes a long time to get the paperwork from them to register out-of-state (I still don't have mine). $45 county tax for the county the dealership is in, in addition to the usual taxes you have to pay for wherever you live. They push the extended warranty pretty heavily, as most dealers do; however, if you just keep saying no, they give up and are very polite about it. I didn't really want factory floor mats or wheel locks; on the other hand, good luck finding a dealership that doesn't include (& charge for) at least this much random extra stuff.

This may look like a lot of complaints, but they are all pretty trivial when you compare an amazing sale price on a Prius in stock to a much higher price that a local dealer (for most other areas) will claim they can get you in N weeks but you really have no way of knowing if that's true, etc. On the whole my experience with Miller was extremely positive, and I definitely would make the same choice if I had to do it over. If you are shopping for a Prius now and they do still have them in stock at those prices, I also suggest you check them out.
