    Hello,

Last spring I bought a used 2013 Prius with solar roof. Today the air flow from the vents was low, the blower responded to changing the speed (and sounded like it was going strong) but even maxed out the airflow from the vents felt weak compared to a few days ago. Different settings didn’t affect this problem. It is still functional but I don’t want it to get worse with the frigid temperatures right now.

I replaced the cabin air filter and even removed the blower to see if anything was blocking it.

I was thinking of checking the air intake but not sure if I have to remove the wiper cowling?

    Any tips?

Whether I have it on defrost, the middle vents and/or the lower vents- the air does not move well(from where it should). Recirc mode also doesn't make a difference in this problem although it does activate a flap to move inside just above the blower fan(as it should I believe)

tank is probably right. however the shutter doors work (would need a parts schematic) instead of the air being directed to the setting you want, it's probably coming out everywhere

Sorry I wasn't clear- It does come out from where it should it's just that the flow is low. Maybe just the blower lost power? Should I try cleaning/lubricating it or just replace it? Yesterday at highway speeds I turned off the fan and some air was coming in so I guess there isn't a blockage?
